Relax with expansive views of Lake Superior as you bask in the glow of the wood burning fireplace's radiance. Waves echoing off the brownstone cliff upon which this special home is perched, absorb the splendor of bald and eagles soaring only feet away. Minutes from your nest is Meyer's Beach, the common entry point to begin your kayak or hiking excursion to the sea and ice caves of this, the greatest of all lakes. You'll find us tucked in the quiet woods of northern WI near the Brule River. We're remote enough to experience star-filled skies & fireflies, but not far from many premier attractions. Your space is a self-contained apartment on the lower level of our 2.5 story home. It features a private entry, queen-sized bed, kitchenette, lower level private deck, access our beautiful grounds & more! We're a family of artists who love to travel & to introduce others to our beautiful part of the world.

Yet since we're next to the Wisconsin Lake Superior Scenic Byway (Hwy 13), it's easy to get wherever you want to go!

Bayfield is 2.3 mi from Brookside. Hike or bike the Brownstone trail along the lake. Take the ferry to Madeline, cruise the apostles, Sail, fish, kayak, golf, orchards, ski and more!! The pool and restraunt opens July 1st. 5 minutes from Bayview beach, Mt Ashwabay, Big top and Adventure Brewery.

Modern, rustic, Aframe cabin on 10 wooded acres; beautiful, simple décor, fully equipped kitchen, new appliances, glass stove top, airfryer oven, filtered H2O/ice maker. Enjoy a luxurious bathroom, with a heated tile floor, walk-in shower. Towels, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are provided. King-size bed in the loft area. Smart TV, wifi. Books, games, bluetooth speaker The woodstove heats the cabin perfectly in the colder months. All wood provided. There is also a minisplit heat/ac unit.

Adorable Northwoods cabin

Come enjoy the North woods in our beautiful little cabin. This cabin is a located in a perfect spot only 2 miles outside of Iron River. Close to tourist areas such as Duluth, Bayfield, Ashland and more. This cabin is the perfect get away. The Brule river is only 8 miles away and can make for the perfect day trip in a kayak or canoe. This cabin comfortably fits 2-4 people! You can enjoy the outdoors at the fire pit or the 3 season porch that gives you the perfect indoor/outdoor feeling!

Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

Perry Pines Yurt | Unique Couple’s Stay - Lake

The Perry Pines Yurt is a 4-season yurt on Perry Lake less than 2 miles from Cable. With quick access to CAMBA mountain bike trails (4 miles to the North End Trailhead), the Birkie Start Area (5 miles), and on an ATV route, it's a great basecamp for your outdoor activities. Sit on the deck and listen to the loons in the summer or warm up next to the woodstove or in the barrel sauna in the winter. Enjoy a full kitchen, bathroom w/shower, lake views, and a fun little unique cabin option!

Borealis Cottage sits on a 2-acre, private, wooded lot in the sustainably designed Sawgrass Community of Cornucopia. Light-filled cottage with open floor plan includes a sleeping loft, screened porch, gas fireplace, and fully-equipped kitchen. A quick, quiet walk from the cottage takes you to a private wooded path with access to Cornucopia Beach on Siskiwit Bay. Explore the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore--our cottage is located 4 miles from Meyers Beach and 20 miles from Bayfield.
