The Salty Dog is a space that is both cosy and open to the water, a wooden boathouse for two that invites you to relax and just 'be', to go off grid and reconnect with mother nature at her best.

Cute and quirky 3-bedroom 1920's cottage

Cicada Glen Cottage is a beautiful, unique place to stay. The cottage is situated at the rear of a semi rural property that is home to a native nursery and bush regeneration business. It is an 8 minute drive to Mona Vale and the beach. The cottage was built in the 1920s with many of the original features retained giving it a very quirky character. Unfortunately the cottage isn't suitable for children under 12 yrs due to the water features and vintage glass used in the original windows.

Step aboard your waterfront boathouse 'Tides Reach' - nestled uniquely over the shoreline with an expansive deck to dine alfresco, a deepwater jetty and backyard access to the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park walking trails. Dive off your private jetty, throw a line from the deck or curl up by the fire with a freshly brewed coffee. It's a water-access only cottage in Pittwater's McCarrs Creek with car parking at Church Point and then catch a short on-demand water taxi. @tidesreach.

Clareville Beach and Taylors Point are a short stroll away where you can swim, picnic and enjoy all Pittwater has to offer. Immerse yourself in luscious sub tropical bush while you walk in beautiful Angophora Reserve enjoying bird life and waterfalls. Set amongst the gum trees overlooking beautiful Pittwater, our light and airy studio apartment is the perfect place to get away from it all. Cool off in the still water opposite or catch a wave at Mona Vale Beach, a short drive away. You can grab a coffee or a bite to eat at our local cafe or restaurant, just a short 600m stroll along the waterfront. Explore Pittwater on the Scotland Island Ferry or hire a kayak. Buses leave from the bottom of our driveway to connect with city links.

Our studio is cosy and is set in tropical surroundings. It’s a perfect city escape or weekend getaway. The studio is 36 m2 and is part of a small block of 8 units and has everything you need for a comfortable stay away from home. A 12 min walk to Newport village you can go shopping at the local boutiques, try out one of the many cafes/restaurants or head straight to the beach for a day in the sun and then after all that you can have a drink while watching the sun set at The Newport
