Relax in this cosy country retreat in the beautiful village of Holbrook. Stone Trough Cottage is approx 150 years old with thick stone walls and original oak beams. Centrally heated plus a log burner for those cosy nights. There’s plush carpets and cosy bedrooms and lots of storage space. The village pub is one min walk The bus takes 10 mins to Belper, bustling with individual shops, bars and restaurants. 🐾 Pets welcome £25 per stay for up to two pets. Bridle Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set next to Hartshay Brook and along a beautiful Bridle lane, amidst rolling countryside with stunning walks straight from the door. Lower Hartshay is a hidden gem, a tiny rural village in Derbyshire. The cottage is along a former tow path behind a picket fence. Inside it boasts a quirky layout with log burner,beams and a stone stairwell to the large kitchen. Enjoy the paddock to the front and seating terrace to the rear looking over the brook.

We are located close to the Peak District, with Chatsworth House not far away. It is surrounded by Oakerthrope Nature Reserve and is perfect for those wanting to explore Derbyshire. We live next door and there are friendly cats and a dog that live on the property. *please note Hot Tub needs to be booked BY THE GUEST DIRECTLY with ‘Midland Hot Tub Hire’ for price, to arrive at the property the day before arrival to be filled and heated by host. Stone Rise Cottage, Belper

Stone Rise Cottage was built in 1874 and has been renovated to its characterful feel today. Entering through the stable-front door, is a traditional kitchen with all the necessities. Beyond this is the lounge with log burner, beams and doors to the stone terrace. There’s also a quaint dining room for evening meals. Upstairs is a modern, renovated bathroom with bath and traditional shower. There are two double bedrooms, both with an elegant feel and a double wardrobe in the second.
