Watch and pet our friendly animals from the cottage and experience some of the best star gazing in New Zealand from our beautiful hot tub. During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk 🦙, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens 🥰

This lovely popular two storey house is affordable, clean, comfortable, warm, family-friendly and spacious. It comes with free WiFi (fibre) and linen. We offer a flexible cancellation policy especially during lockdown. The house is situated on the quiet western side of town with breath taking views of the Ben Ohau ranges and surrounding mountains. It’s unique easy-living design makes it elegant yet homely. It has a large fully fenced back yard with a furnished patio area and a BBQ.

Lakeview Cottage is at 8 Murray Place, which is short walk from the town centre, the Lake, the Church, Dog statue and restaurants and bars. The cottage has a homely feel and has been loved by guests that have stayed before. In the older established part of town, we can guarantee a quiet, enjoyable and peaceful stay.
