We live on the Betsie Valley bike trail and have bikes available to use for free. We are 20 minutes feom Crystal Mountain for snowboarders and Skiers. We have snow shoes to borrow for winter beauty on the frozen Crystal lake. Perfect for families, couples or a group of friends. Our only rule is to ENJOY the beauty of Northern Michigan!

Relax & play at the cozy Betsie River Log Cabin. We work hard to make your stay the best. The cabin is on the Betsie River in Thompsonville, MI, 5 miles from Crystal Mountain Ski & Golf & Spa Resort. Within 30 min of Frankfort/Lk Michigan, Traverse City , Beulah/Crystal Lake, & approx 20 min from Interlochen Music Camp. Lakes & the Betsie River surround the area, making fishing and boating easily accessible. The BRLC is a nonsmoking property with a full house generator/new baby gear on sight.

Beautiful sunrises at the private Guest Suite (the lower level of my home) nestled in the woods on Stevens Lake. Loons, birds, turkeys, bald eagle and deer may surprise you. Guest Suite has 2 bedrooms, bath and family room with fully stocked kitchenette for all your cooking needs. Private locking sliding glass door opens to the patio, gas grill, hammock and fire pit overlooking the lake. A steep walking trail and steps down to the lakefront access the dock, 2 kayaks, paddleboat & life jackets.

The house was recently renovated to add a sun room and transform the first floor into an open concept with a spacious kitchen and living room. There are two sets of washer/dryer in the basement to accommodate large groups. Walk across the street to Crystal Lake, wander two blocks to downtown for a meal or hang out back by the creek and listen for frogs by campfire light.

Enjoy all four seasons with beautiful panoramic views. A private suite with kitchenette, full bath, bar area with 2 stools. Near wineries, beaches, hiking, biking and Sleeping Bear National Park & Lake Michigan. Herring Lake across the street. Also included is dock access (for walking/sitting) and kayaks at your own risk.
