This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

You'll have a lot of privacy and the owner is happy to inform you and make it as comfortable as possible. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo business travelers and families (with children).

Cosy and quiet 3 story-house in the heart of the beautiful and historical centrum of Hoorn. Walking distance to musea, restaurants and shopping streets. Very complete, including 2 complimentary bicycles and a Chromecast for rainy days. Interesting for you to know is that we blok 2-3 weeks every year in order to do maintenance on the house. Guarantee of cleanliness and comfort for you. From 2022-23 nature park is the city beach promenade available only 3-4 minutes walk from the house.

Reeds op de veerpont slaat de onthaasting toe. Het vrijstaande huisje is luxe afgewerkt en voorzien van een keuken en een badkamer met douche. Onze B&B is gelegen in het hart van Waarland, met Alkmaar, Schagen en Heerhugowaard op fietsafstand. Het is een gastenverblijf voor 4 personen, geschikt voor een gezin met grotere kinderen. In Waarland is geen treinstation en 's avonds rijden er geen bussen. Zonder auto zijn wij wellicht niet de juiste locatie. Bij een verblijf langer dan 5 dagen wordt een korting gegeven, maar dient u zelf voor het ontbijt te zorgen.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
