The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

Don’t miss to hike and visit Vestdalur waterfalls that is a short walk from the cabin. The cabin is provided with dvds, books and vintage video games.

An unique Tiny House, a compact living space for friends. It is part of the Historic Farmhouse, in a former Smithy. The House is opposite the Community Church and Graveyard. Close by the popular Berunes Restaurant, open from June to August ´26. Newly renovated building set in the fjord of Seyðisfjörður, 7 km away from the town centre. The house was a school in the older days but has now been given a modern design with beautiful views and the feeling of being away from everything.
