The Carriage House at Walnut Pond

Charming carriage house on very private 8 acres overlooking Walnut Pond. The long driveway takes you past our vegetable/herb garden, a log cabin build in 1789 and across Little Nishisakawick Creek. The carriage house is bright & cozy with lovely views & private patio - great for nature watching. We live in the adjacent converted barn. 3 miles from historic Frenchtown on the Delaware River, close to Bucks County with a great variety of restaurants, miles of towpath & old river towns to explore.

We love making our place feel extra cozy for your perfect getaway and we can’t wait to host you! Our Cottage is a standalone guest house situated on our 4-acre property. Away from the main house, It offers ample privacy. The loft bedroom (not childproof) can be reached via an easy-to-climb staircase. The KING SIZE bed ensures a restful night and is perfect for a lazy morning. Features include a kitchenette, electric fireplace, BBQ, outdoor fire pit (with wood), covered patio, and a smart TV. 😊

This hidden oasis is a few hundred feet from the Delaware River. Bring the dog - we have 2 1/2 acres of fenced in yard for the four legged member of the family. King sized pull out in the living room for the kids. Relax with the whole family. Enjoy the patio and cook S'mores in the fire pit. Play frisbee golf, lawn bocce & croquet. If you have a fishing license you are welcome to fish from the dock or bring a kayak or bikes. Or use this as home base for exploring historic Philadelphia.
