With direct access to 74 miles of trails right out your front door, this is the luxurious basecamp for anyone who wants to hike or mountain bike. Nestled inside the borders of the Bent Creek Experimental Forest (part of the stunning Pisgah National Forest) you'll be just minutes from downtown Asheville, but feel a world away. Reconnect with nature in this off grid wild mountain setting. 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive access only. AWD SUBARUS get up just fine! Steep gravel road. There is 2 wheel drive parking space available with a steep 1/2 mile hike to the cabin. If we are close by we could arrange a shuttle… Bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. Queen size and twin size for the bunk beds. We provide Pillows and lightweight comforter for you. Weddings available for an EXTRA CHARGE. See below.
