Self-contained with bedroom, bathroom and tea/coffee station. Opens onto a small patio in our super sunny garden. We live in the main house on the property but our guest house is at the rear of the property and is nice and private. We do have a small dog that is sometimes in the garden. He’s super friendly but can be kept away if needed. Great location, bus stop at the top of the road which takes you straight into CBD in 15min. Ferry is also located in Birkenhead which is about 5km away.

Situated behind the main home with its own private entrance off the garden is a wonderful and private one-bedroom studio fitted with modern quality furnishings throughout, including a kitchenette with a microwave, bar fridge, toaster and kettle. The room has under-floor insulation and air conditioning, and a Smart TV. Free unlimited broadband is also provided. The room can comfortably accommodate two adults and spare (portable) beds can be supplied for an infant (up to 3 years) and a child.

The 35 square metre self-contained studio is private, elevated and peaceful with a sunny deck overlooking the garden and Eskdale Reserve's native bush. Both the studio and its carpark are out of sight and sound of the road down a long sloping ROW that is shared with the main house. NOT suitable for guests with restricted mobility because of the stairs from carpark to studio (see photos). Uncluttered. Suitable for cooking, working, relaxing. 10min walk to nearest shop and bus stops.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place in Birkenhead. Great public transport into Auckland city, walking access to all Birkenhead has to offer and fantastically located to enjoy the north shore. You'll love the light coming through the french doors that look out over your own patio and have views of the reserve. The couch is super comfy and you can stretch out on the King-sized bed. No kitchen facilities except microwave, toaster, kettle and mini fridge.

The unit is ideal for solo adventurers, business travellers, or couples. A short walk to central Highbury for many cafes, restaurants, and buses for 15 minute trip to central Auckland. Or, for a more leisurely day take the ferry from Birkenhead Wharf.
