The Shack- Quirky & Coastal ( nr cliff-top path)

The Shack - a renovated hundred year old chalet on a quiet lane close to Mumbles cricket club, 100 m away from the cliff top path that goes from Limeslade beach to Langland Bay. It is a lovely, beachy, quirky, coastal space that is perfect on the inside and work-in-progress on the outside!! A great base for Mumbles and The Gower. With a kingsize bed covered in base price we can also sleep two others - in the second bedroom -on a comfy pull-out daybed (an extra charge of £ 10 guest/night).

My place is very close to the beach (3 minute walk), Wales Coastal Path (1 minute walk) and Oxwich Bay Hotel (3 minute walk). Your space is on the ground floor of our sea-front home in Mumbles, offering uninterrupted views of Swansea Bay. From the suite, you can see Mumbles Lifeboat Station to the right and Oystermouth Castle to the left. The suite features a king-size bed, corner sofa (also a sofa bed), full size fridge, table and chairs, a work desk, storage, shower room, 50” TV, and WiFi. Trampoline at the back. Please note, no cooking facilities are provided but we do have bowls, plates, glasses etc.

No 1 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a dog friendly property renovated from a pit pony stables. Next door is No 2 that is slightly larger and can be booked separately on Airbnb. There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.

Honeysuckle Cottage is a modern barn conversion which is light, airy and beautifully decorated.
