The cottage has a cozy, inviting interior, featuring exposed stone walls and traditional design the cottage offers comfortable and well appointed accomodation. Inside there is a king bedroom and charming twin bedroom, providing versatile sleeping arrangements.

Ivy Bank Studio Creetown - Gem Rocks Neighbour.

Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

2 Calgow Cottages - Gateway to the Galloway Hills

2 Calgow Cottage is a fully refurbished semi-detached cottage in the heart of Galloway, within walking distance of Newton Stewart, described as the 'Gateway to the Galloway Hills'. Our large garden backs on to the mature woodlands of Kirroughtree Forest, famous for its recreational offering including bike shop and cafe, walking trails, and home to one of the 'seven stanes' mountain biking sites. Closeby are miles of coastline, hills, and spectacular scenery, ideal for that perfect getaway.

Lady Galloway Lodge 30, Hot Tub

Our Lady Galloway Lodges are perfect for family and friends with a super king master bedroom complete with ensuite bathroom, a further twin room downstairs and a mezzanine twin room at the top of the spiral staircase. There is an additional family shower room downstairs, a galley kitchen and a spacious living area. Outside you will find you hot tub on the enclosed decking. Conifer Lodges is within walking distance to the small town of Newton Stewart where you will find bars and restaurants.

The Old Toll House Petite and perfectly formed

Petite but perfectly formed The Old Toll house is a perfect base to explore Dumfries and Galloway. The Old Toll house was built in 1813 the same time as the bridge was built. It was the original Toll house used to collect the payment for people crossing between Newton Stewart and Minnigaff. The old wooden bridge and ford was replaced in 1813 John Rennie (The Elder) won the honour of the commission. Thomas Telford his competitor also submitted plans. Thank you for your booking.

Newly renovated and modernised 1850s detached stone cottage, set in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway. The extensive garden backs on to the stunning Kirroughtree forest and the elevated position allows for beautiful front and rear views. Take a walk into the forest park from the door step, sit at the patio doors watching the garden birds or cosy up in front of the fire. Bridgeview, The Hollow

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay at Bridgeview in Creetown. Situated next door to woodland walks and rivers, the scenery is stunning. There is also a children’s play park next door for all the family to enjoy! Creetown hosts a gem stone museum and a heritage museum. Within a 20min drive there is also a Cocobean chocolate factory, Mossy yard beach, Kirroughtree biking trail and the red deer range park. All fantastic for the whole family!

The Potager Tree House

Situated within the vegetable garden five feet up. Unfortunately, not suitable for disabled access. There is a tree coming up through the balcony which gets full sun in the morning for breakfast alfresco. Living area is small and quirky but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Outside there is a BBQ, a wood fired whiskey barrel hot tub and enough coals and logs provided for one night. The garden is secure and dog friendly. Private entry and parking.

The Bothy Newton Stewart

Nether Barr Steading is a farm Steading that has been converted into 6 holiday cottages. The Bothy is a two storey cottage with downstairs providing a large open plan area with lounge/diner, fitted kitchen and a large picture window offering uninterrupted views of the Galloway Hills and River Cree. Guest can access picnic benches by use of the back door. Upstairs is a kingsize bedroom. Note that this is barn conversion and ceilings are low and combed upstairs.
