Brimming with character, our little Shack offers holiday accommodation for two people looking for a cosy place to stay in the Highlands of Scotland. Located in the quiet village of Boat of Garten in the Cairngorm National Park, Shack at Back is the perfect base to explore our beautiful area . With a popular local restaurant and wood-fired takeaway pizza across the road, theres plenty of choice after a busy day. We even have a quaint local shop/post office and coffee shop all on your doorstep.

Aviemore, Kincraig, Kirkbeag

Kirkbeag, an old church converted to a very high standard, is located on the Aviemore side of Kincraig, nestled in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. It is ideally suited to big family groups. It sits beside the B9152 within walking distance of the village pub & close to Loch Insh Watersports Centre and all the activities available on Alvie Estate. It has a large garden set in forest with direct access to the Speyside Way which provides cycle/walking access to Aviemore (all offroad).

Boat of Garten is a beautiful village situated in the Spey Valley. It is an ideal base for many sporting and nature activities in summer and winter. There is even a steam train that runs past the bottom of the garden. The village has a grocery store, hotel and a restaurant. Our bungalow has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. There is a well equipped kitchen/dining room and a lounge with a beautiful view.We also have a utility room which is great for drying wet gear and storing wellies!

Bespoke Bothy, Mondhuie, NethyBridge, Cairngorms

The Bothy and The Chalet at Mondhuie are on Nature's Doorstep, we are on the edge of the ancient Caledonia Forest, in the Cairngorm National Park. This is the smaller of the 2 units here. Both are Self-Catering. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the scenery and great location.. Set at the foot of the Angus glens, this picturesque, light and airy cottage has a kitchen/sitting room, a bedroom with double bed and a shower room. Ideal for hill walking, cycling, fishing, or anyone wishing to have a quiet break and explore this special location with its many historical attractions. Scottish Short-term Let Licence number AN-01228-F. EPC rating F although this was carried out in 2015 and the property has been significantly upgraded since then.

Urquhart Bay Croft is a brand new luxury self-catered renovation with beautiful views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart. Downstairs it has a double height entrance hallway, one king-size bedroom, and separate family bathroom, while upstairs it boasts a fully equipped open plan kitchen/dining area, lounge with comfy sofa and free standing log burner, and double doors opening to decked area and the wider south facing garden.

The Pavilion is a Luxurious Self Catered Wing of Foulis Castle just out of Evanton near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
