"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Although built in 1884 Anglesey has all of the facilities that are expected in a modern home. More history available in the guest guide.

Belubula Cottage is perfect for couples. It is private and fully self contained. The cottage has covered verandahs front and back and a fully fenced yard with a gas BBQ. Pets are permitted on application.

You have your own carport and there is etra street parking for a larger vehicle or a Ute and trailer. We are not a resort location.
