Take it easy at this unique and tranquil log cabin hand built by my grandfather and father from cypress trees pulled straight out of the Louisiana swamps. Escape the city & enjoy the serenity of the country life. Located 15 minutes from Monticello and 25 minutes from Brookhaven. Dollar General located 3 miles away & a country store with fuel 1.5 miles away. This fully furnished 2/1 currently has 1 full size & 1 queen size bed and 5’ shower(not a full tub). Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE ONLY!

Our cabin is the perfect getaway to enjoy nature, coffee on the front porch or a cocktail on the upstairs deck, a ride in the woods or a swim in the freshwater creeks. It is a great place to enjoy a romantic weekend, or a vacation with the kids and your pets for outdoor adventures which include hiking or biking the many trails and ravines, or capturing images of birds and other wildlife with your camera. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen for gourmet cooking and dining on the front porch.

The Haven is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature or have a good time with friends. Our 5 bedroom home sits on 45 acres of woodland with a 12 foot inground salt water pool. Unwind on the deck. Hike the trails into the forest and down to the creek. Play pool, air hockey, or ping pong in our balcony game room. Hang out in the pool or in the great room which has 3 couches, 2 recliners, and lots of space to spread out. And leave feeling refreshed and ready to get back to life.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. It is located in Sandy Creek Wildlife Management Area. This is a one bedroom and bathroom cabin with a full size bed, microwave, and refrigerator. Come and hunt over 200,000 acres of public hunting land or fish at Homochitto River, Natchez State Park Lake, and plenty more! Take a relaxing walk down Levees Creek, Sandy Creek, or any of the many walking trails located near the cabin! Come and enjoy the outdoors here at our Sandy Creek Cabin.

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Sports cars do not fare well here. Please note that the address listed on Airbnb is not our location. I will email you directions.

Our cabin is located on a secondary road behind a locked gate nestled in the forest on six acres of property surrounded by pine and hardwood. Beautiful Brushy Creek is steps away from the porch. The Homochitto National Forest is minutes away. Here you can enjoy hiking, biking or bird watching in the quiet while watching wildlife. We also have games & TV/DVD player hookup only. Take a day or afternoon & go looking for arrowheads, fossils & other treasures like gold rocks.

We're located smack dabb in the middle of the rolling hills of SW Mississippi. Imagine leaving the beaten path far enough to get away from it all and yet close enough to be able to come back quickly if need be. If secluded, peaceful and restful is your destination then come grab a chair on the back porch, pour a beverage and indulge yourself with enjoying the simple laid back life. Please note daily rate changes with groups larger than four (4).

My place is close to Okissa Lake, Clearsprings Recreational area, city of Natchez, and the Natchez Trace.. it is only 2 1/2 hours from New Orleans, or less than 2 hours from Baton Rouge. You’ll love our place because the property is located in the middle of the Homochitto National Forest. It is secluded and quiet. No plane, train, or automobile noise.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

Unplug and relax at River’s Edge—your cozy getaway on the Amite River. Sleeps 4 with a queen bed and pullout sofa, plus a full kitchen and bar seating. Chill on the big deck and enjoy the view. Perfect for a weekend escape or just some quiet time by the water. Please note: River’s Edge is located next door to The Gathering Point, an event space that occasionally hosts small gatherings.
