We are on the unspoilt Roseland Peninsula, surrounded by fields and with sea views across to dramatic Dodman Point, the highest headland on the south coast of Cornwall. Ideal for walkers, we are less than a mile from the South West Coast Path. Although very rural, we are within walking distance of two pubs, the New Inn at Veryan and The Ship at Portloe. The village shop & post office are at Veryan for your added convenience.

1 Cliff Cottage, Portloe is a recently renovated fisherman's cottage with a large terrace and spectacular views of the harbour and out to sea. The timeless village has been the setting for many films and TV dramas including About Time, Poldark and the Wild West. The South West Coast Path is right on your doorstep and St Mawes, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays etc are all nearby. Alternatively decide to just relax, pour yourself a glass of wine and let the world turn a little!

Welcome to Tern Hill, a charming Cornish retreat nestled in the pretty village of St Mawes. Perfectly situated to capture the breathtaking sea views, this family-friendly home is an ideal getaway for those seeking a holiday on the stunning Cornish coast. Tern Hill sleeps 5, with 2 double bedrooms and a smaller single in the third room. For larger groups the adjacent house (Harbour View) can also be rented to sleep a total of 11. There is an additional apartment available which sleeps 2.

Note that although the house is a bungalow, there are steps up from the road to access it. No pets please.

Our self contained bedsit annex is ideally situated close to the harbour and local beach (300 meters away). It's ideal for a couple who want a convenient location, with free parking, good restaurants and pubs nearby. St.Mawes has local shops, two bakeries, a deli, seafood on the harbour, boutiques and amenities. It has easy links to Falmouth by foot ferry (weather dependent) and by car on the King Harry Ferry.
