Our basecamp apartment is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast looking for an escape to the countryside. We are 1/2mile from the C&O Towpath and Potomac river and less than 2 miles from Harpers Ferry and the Appalachian Trail. Our location makes this perfect for couples, families or groups looking to hike, bike, or raft. Make use of our deck, grill, fire pit, and bike tools. We recently got internet. But no TV, and weak cell signal. The kitchenette has a hotplate, toaster oven, and coffee maker.

This historic three bedroom house is centrally located in scenic Harpers Ferry, walking distance to the Old Town. Sightseeing, white water rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking, snow tubing and many more activities are only minutes away. From taking a walk to where Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers merge, to hiking the Appalachian Trail, or visiting one of the wineries and breweries in the area, there is something for everyone to enjoy. For civil war buffs there's plenty of sights to visit.

Spring starts late Feb early March with all the daffodils. You will want to stay...longer. The most comfortable beds ever, comphy sleep should be priority #1. Our luxury design is unmatched in the area. And our location is at best end of Washington St. 0.25 miles away. No train noise at this end. Spa master bath/ free-standing tub, relaxing deck. Yes, the HOT TUB is OPEN! We have 4 other nearby full vacation rental homes in Harpers Ferry and have been hosting visitors since 2011. Conveniently located in a semi-rural neighborhood setting with large yard, hot tub, fire pit and large field in the back. The home has wifi and free off-street parking. Slope side home in the winter months to Snow Riders. Lights and potentially other guests on the slope may be seen from the home.
