Welcome to our family holiday home. Our charming, secluded cottage can comfortably sleep up to 8-9 people (incl. 1 on the sofa) with 3 bedrooms plus a loft bedroom. A hot tub with jets is perfect for watching the northern lights. 1 hour drive from Reykjavik 20 minutes from Borgarnes. An ideal base for day trips to the south and west of Iceland. Enjoy beautiful Icelandic nature, in the idyllic Skorradalur valley, nestled between an 18km long lake, mountains, birch trees, brooks and more.

Our 78 square meter 1 bedroom cottage is located 50 minutes drive from Reykjavik. The cottage is luxurious and has an outdoor natural water hot tub from where you can enjoy the Northern Lights or the fantastic sunset. The living area and the balcony have a spectacular view overlooking the fjord and surrounding mountains. The cottage is a great base for day tours in the south or west of Iceland. Gullfoss, Geysir, Thingvellir and Snæfells glacier are all within 1-2 hours’ drive.

The cabins are part of Hotel Hafnarfjall resort. In the cabins you can really feel the nature around. You have an exceptional view of the ocean and Hafnarfjall mountain on the other side. Borgarnes town is just across the bridge, where you can find restaurants and supermarket. Breakfast is not included in the price and it's additionally paid in the hotel reception.
