The Bunker (Holmfirth’s hidden gem) with parking!

https://tinyurl.com/y3cnz9h8 Our lovely Bunker is situated 3 minutes walk to the centre of Holmfirth . Built in our garden, this hideaway serves as accommodation for our large family to use when visiting. It has a large open plan kitchen/lounge diner with a sofa bed, one double bedroom, an office area, bathroom and a utility room housing the laundry facilities. It has underfloor heating and is double glazed. There is a dedicated parking space on our drive and a deck to sit on, in good weather.

The Old Post Office in Bolster Moor is a self contained 1 bedroom apartment. Furnished and equipped for stays of a weekend, a week or a month. There is private off road parking and a shared garden. With a brilliant farm shop and cafe opposite and the local pub two minute walk away. Barely a mile away is Golcar, where you can find shops, food & restaurants, pubs & a pharmacy. Carnegie Library: Bronte Apartment

Carnegie Library, built in 1906 and continued as a library up until 1970s. This apartment was the reading room. Beautiful original large arched windows bring natural light to the place. It is an unusual layout with mezzanine floor for the bedroom and a little nook area for the sofa bed. Separate bathroom with shower etc. Please note you are coming to an ex mining village so while Swinton it's self is not a holiday area , it is central to many interesting places around.

Ryecroft House, Large apartment near Holmfirth

Ryecroft House is a former farmhouse that dates back to the Seventeenth Century. It is situated in Ryecroft, a hamlet of half a dozen or so houses, a little less than a mile above the centre of Holmfirth. There is plenty of off-road parking and a substantial garden for guests’ use. Guests’ accommodation is the top floor of the house. Access is through the main house, so we share a staircase and hallway, but the flat itself is fully independent with a lockable entrance.
