The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Beautiful cottage on working homestead

Beautiful little cottage on homestead just 12 minutes from Qualicum Beach. Come connect back with the land and walk the gardens on this quaint little farm. We have Nigerian Dwarf Goats to cuddle with and many free-range chickens. We offer farm tours and fresh coffee. Lots to explore in the area and a quick drive to the beach or old growth forest. This oceanside cabin is a unique place that welcomes guests with an oceanside experience that won't soon be forgotten. Nestled in the trees mere steps from the water you will be welcomed each day by amazing sunrises, ocean wildlife, and a peaceful calm that is hard to find. Spend your day watching wildlife on the porch, beachcombing, or visit the many attractions nearby. Cafes, restaurants, artisans, groceries and seafood markets are all just a short drive away. Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

We are en route just over an hour drive to the beautiful Long Beach Tofino & the west coast of Vancouver Island

This cozy studio overlooking Baynes Sound with walk on beachfront is perfect for one or two people. Enjoy watching the changing wildlife scenes and utilize our private beach access to beachcomb and launch your kayaks or paddle boards. Relax with your favourite beverage while watching the amazing colours of the Westcoast sunsets.
