Windmill close to Amsterdam!!

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

De molens van Kinderdijk liggen een paar kilometer verderop en zijn natuurlijk een must om naar toe te gaan. De oude stad Dordrecht is bereikbaar met de auto binnen 10 minuten, en met 20 minuten ben je in Rotterdam. Sinds kort is er ook een 8-persoons sloep te huur als aanvulling. Dit is de ideale locatie voor een geweldig familieweekend en niet geschikt voor groepen onder de 25 jaar.

This location is for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. From the houseboat you have a view of a nature-friendly bank that is ecologically managed by the local residents. You can view the many types of water birds and even the Kingfisher and the Cormorant come to catch a fish every now and then. The water is of very good quality and you can swim from the boat. U kunt varen met de kano en het roeibootje. En natuurlijk kan er gezwommen en gevist worden. Ook kunt u heerlijk wandelen en fietsen in de prachtige natuur. Verder is het huisje een goede plek om vandaar uitstapjes naar Gouda en Den Haag/Rotterdam te maken, zelfs Amsterdam is binnen het uur te bereiken.
