The house is nestled on a canal that leads into the Knysna Lagoon. Sunsets are spectacular on the patio overlooking the water. The Thesen Island estate is gorgeous and presents numerous opportunities for leisure, including water sports, tennic courts, 18 putting holes, a bird park, dog park, walking trails, squash courts, private beaches, and more. The house is perfect for a getaway and a base from which to tour Knysna and the Garden Route; there is plenty space and chance for fun and rest.

The Oakhurst Schoolyard - Landon's Loft

Once a school to the local community children, this school building has been lovingly restored and converted into three character-packed, semi-detached (they all sit alongside each other) farm cottages. With gorgeous rural views, fresh country air and a setting like this, you’ll wonder how the kids managed to concentrate during their school day. You also get a front row seat to watch the cows commute to the dairy at milking time. NB: The unit is in close proximity to the neighbouring one.

Sunny deck to enjoy the views and a Fireplace to add atmosphere and warmth on cooler evenings. So close to town but quiet and private. Ashley March 2019- Relisted property With breath taking views of the lagoon, this newly built home is close to town and just a short drive to beaches and activities. Very comfortable open plan living, with stacking doors that open out onto a large deck. On the side of the house is a fire pit which creates the perfect atmosphere to while away those lazy sunning nights.

Goose cottage, situated in a fynbos estate.

Self catering, fully equipped large cottage with top end appliances and luxury bathroom. Very private, with gorgeous views of the Knysna lagoon. Guests will enjoy sleeping on beautiful queen slay bed with Egyptian cotton bedding, and a single bed. Kitchen has gas hob and microwave. Lots of private parking and close to town and eating spots. Camp cot available. Goose cottage is off the grid, so during loadshedding we are fully functional.
