Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Castle in the Sky

Your alive you may as well live. Home is a walk to Butchart Gardens, hiking trails, town centre, ocean, and a short drive to International Airport, Bc Ferries, and lakes. A well designed 3 bedroom home that is located in a relaxed safe country environment. It's good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). This is Country Living in a private residence, a luxury cottage, with a pool table, in a park like setting. Public transportation very close.

Bright, clean, modern bachelor suite located in a quiet neighbourhood in Central Saanich. Separate entrance with a patio to enjoy sitting outside. Parking, wifi, cable included. Close to the airport & B.C. ferries! Grocery stores, parks, farmers markets, restaurants, & Butchart Gardens are all less than a 10 min. drive. Victoria, Sidney, and the ocean are all within about 20 mins. Elk Lake is a 10 min. drive where you can enjoy the beach or walk around the beautiful 10 K path around the lake.

Welcome to The Arbutus Loft Ardmore is an exclusive neighbourhood with very large lots surrounded by trees and ocean. Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac this loft within a new executive home was completed in 2023. Start your morning gazing out the wall of windows that has you floating in the trees. What next? Access one of the many public forested trails ; Perhaps a 150m trail walk South to Coles Bay or a 600m walk North to Ardmore golf course. *see additional rules regarding smoking

Deluxe Oceanfront Getaway

You can enjoy the stellar views of Haro Strait and San Juan Island, as well as a chance to do some whale watching on your private patio. Our private suite is perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. With our close proximity to the University of Victoria, Mount Douglas, dozens of beaches, and downtown Victoria, you are bound to find something to see and do every day of your visit.

Forest Hideout

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

And outdoor adventures, by land or by sea, are outside your door with close access to water sports, hiking, biking, and running trails all waiting for you to discover the natural beauty of Vancouver Island.

Under 30 minutes to Victoria's City Centre, and only a 10-15 minute drive to the world famous Butchart Gardens. This place makes you feel like you’re miles away yet conveniently close to everything this amazing city has to offer. *Please note that a new house is being built next door, so there may be residential construction noise during the day.

Brentwood Garden Suite

The Brentwood Garden — basement suite is located in a quiet neighbourhood at the back of the house with a beautiful garden and patio. A infant is welcome to sleep in a beautiful baby wicket basket with stand. Unfortunately, the suite is not wheelchair accessible. Suitable for 2 persons. The suite and upper - hosts floor share one heating and cooling system with a thermostat on main floor. Our guests are able to control a comfortable temperature in the suite by adjusting ceiling vents.

Unwind in your private suite with a walkout entrance on the lower level of our family home, nestled on 2 acres beside Elk Lake Park. Centrally located, we’re 15-20 minutes from the ferry, airport, and downtown, 10 minutes to Butchart Gardens, and 5 minutes to great hiking and biking. Nearby, you’ll find charming farms and restaurants. The closest bus stop is 2 km away. Your suite includes a fridge, microwave, Keurig, and kettle for basic meal prep. No smoking or scented products, please!

The care takers pier house is the most unique way to embrace Brentwood Bay . Being the oldest private marina in BC you will sense its rich history on the walls of the house. On the peir you will find boat builders and canvas makers and the largest paddle sport operation on the island. Brentwood spa is a 4 minute walk down the path , seahorse cafe is next door and butchart gardens is in the same bay. All who come to Brentwood bay love the little island feel at portside marina .
