Gum Tree Studio - The perfect country retreat!

With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

The view doesn’t get any better than up here. This amazing space with mountain views offers the perfect artistic retreat, or just a tranquil getaway. There is a king single bed in the loft, or the couch opens out to a very comfy double bed. Double glazing and a wall heater ensures a cosy nest. Help yourself to veggies in the garden and any fruit that is ready in the orchard. Separate kitchen with cooking facilities and everyone’s favourite is the tropical feel outdoor shower and bath - bliss!

Peaceful Nelson getaway - spa pool, space & views

In the heart of the Nelson region, on 5 acres of countryside with a picture-perfect view of the Richmond Ranges, is Higgs Rest where Luxury has been redefined. Here, time unfolds as you desire. Days can be slow with leisurely walks and feasts of local produce or adventure-packed exploring the Abel Tasman National Park, Tasman Taste Cycle Trail, and multiple beaches on the doorstep. Either way, days end gently at Higgs Rest – settled around the fire, sharing stories. Located 18km to airport.

Hidden Holiday Cottage

A cute wee cottage for a hideaway. Surrounded by trees and bird life in a peaceful setting. The Motueka River is a 5 min walk. We have a sculpture garden and gallery on site showcasing the work of David Carson and other artists. Free entry to our guests. Rest up and relax in our newly refurbished cottage. Easy living with the open plan, leading to a spacious bedroom with ensuite. The original homestead dates pre 1880 and has since been uniquely remodeled by the late John Gosney - a local icon and world famous in Nelson for his creative landscaping. This is the perfect retreat for any avid shopper or outdoor enthusiast. Richmond village just 5 min walk, Sylvan Mountain Bike park 5 min bike, Great Tast trail 5 min walk, Aquatic Centre 2 min.

Compact stand alone semi rural country cottage amongst the fruit trees, situated 1km from Brightwater & only 15 minutes to Richmond. Close proximity to cycle trails. Applegirth - Peaceful Retreat near Mapua

A relaxing space to retreat to after a day of exploring, Applegirth offers an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area; a separate bedroom with Single bed; a mezzanine level with Queen sized bed and a bathroom with shower over bath, and washer. A Sofa Bed in the lounge can also be utilised upon request. In the lounge is a music station , and selection of games. Outside on the verandah is a covered BBQ and seating area where you can relax and listen to the birdsong.

Price is for one guest only, additional guests $50 per person.
