Lobstermen's ocean-front cottage

Be our guests & experience the life & beauty of Midcoast Maine. Relax with ocean views, warm up in the sauna or take a refreshing dip. Our cottage is part of Gurnet Village, an over 100-year-old working lobstering & oyster farming property on historic Route 24, between Brunswick & Harpswell. Expect boats, workers, road traffic, gear, and the occasional sounds & smells of a real Maine working waterfront. All rooms have ocean views, with access to the tidal beach & floating dock (May-Dec).

This is where you want to stay! Away from all the traffic and noise of HWY 1, down a long driveway but super close to the village. Perched on the hillside with elevated panoramic views of the river and Wiscasset Harbor. This adorable little building is post and beam construction - comfy, quiet, peaceful on 34 acres of woodlands and river front. Want to squeeze in more kids? Talk to us. 2 quiet nonaggressive furry friends welcome. $20 per nt. per pet paid on arrival. Max pet fee $100.

Waterfront Getaway & Scenic View

A private waterfront cottage nestled away in the town of Edgecomb; “in the southern part of Lincoln County, which is situated upon the peninsula formed by the Sheepscot and Damariscotta Rivers, having Newcastle on the north and Boothbay upon the south. The cottage sits on an acre of land and is surrounded by beautiful forest and a view of the hallmark village, Wiscasset. Perfect place for couples, family, or friends to spend the summer/fall/vacation or getaway by the river's edge.

The Cottage at the McCobb House

Freshly renovated inside and out, the cottage is your private Maine camp. Located on an acre and a half of wooded grounds, and surrounded by forest, the cottage feels secluded, but it’s only a mile to the restaurants, shops, and waterfront attractions of bustling Boothbay Harbor. With hiking trails in the Pine Tree Preserve that adjoins the property and the Lobster Cove Meadow Preserve a five minute walk up the road, you can also explore nature and enjoy the solitude of the woods.

Our property sitting on Davis Island in Edgecomb, Maine overlooks the quaint town of Wiscasset, providing a calm atmosphere, stunning evening sunsets, and panoramic views. Located within the Sheepscot Harbour Village Resort, you are in a prime location to have access to local shops, antique markets, and restaurants. Take a stroll down to the Pier where you can experience the water up close.

Spruce Tops Cottage

Spruce Tops is a single family cottage, situated near the mouth of New Harbor. You can hear the ocean waves and the bell buoy. Enjoy your coffee on the screened in porch watching the boats coming and going. A well equipped kitchen has an island eating area, the comfy living room has a ceiling fan, as does the master bedroom, with a queen bed and french doors to the fully screened in porch. Bathroom equipped with shower. Owners located across street if needed.

Compass Rose Way Cottages are on Rutherfords Island in South Bristol, Maine. There are four cottages, we rent two of the four, North and West, both are two bedroom, one bathroom, both with an open concept living room and kitchen. Cottages are less than 1/3 mile from downtown South Bristol and the ocean. We are about 14 miles from Damariscotta, Pemaquid Point, and other mid coast Maine towns. Our electricity is provided by our solar array that is grid connected.

This comfortable 2 bedroom, one bathroom, A-frame pine cottage is set on its own point with 350 feet of waterfront! Cook out on the grill, lounge on the deck or dock while taking in the wildlife on a beautiful tidal river. Watch nesting Bald Eagles and Great Blue Herons fishing! There is plenty of sight-seeing in this picturesque area. Rockland is just 10-minutes away where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, museums, galleries, lighthouses and festivals.

Coastal Cotton Cottage is on beautiful Davis Island in a peaceful setting by the sea. Open the French doors from the living room and step out onto the spacious front porch to watch the sun set across Wiscasset Harbor. This cottage features two bedrooms downstairs and one single bed in the loft. NEW UPDATES THIS SPRING! Our cottage has been recently updated with fresh paint, new towels and new coastal interior decor.
