Fernances Creek Farm is one hour north of Sydney in the picturesque Wollombi Valley. Ten minutes from Laguna with the Watagan Mountains and Yengo National Park on our doorstep. The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

Delight in the natural beauty and tranquil rural experience of our 24 acre wine country farm. Far horizons, incredible stars, play space aplenty. With open plan living spaces, fully equipped kitchen and wood fire, the house is fantastic for a special time away with family or friends. All rooms have views across fields, vineyards and mountains, with the huge covered verandah providing the best vantage point only occasionally obstructed by wandering kangaroos, wombats, foxes, and the local cows.

Stewart Cottage

Stewart cottage has three en-suite bedrooms, and is set in quiet and peaceful bushland less than two hours drive from Sydney. For weekend bookings, a minimum of three guests is required. Stewart is close to many wineries and restaurants, and only five minutes drive from Hunter Valley Gardens and Roche and Hope Estates. The cottage is kept meticulously clean by our long-term housekeeper, who uses alcohol-based cleaning agents. Generous, reduced rates are available for week-long stays.

"The Studio" is situated in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region with wineries and concert venues just minutes away. Perfect for a romantic getaway or to simply escape the hustle and bustle. There are many beautiful walks and sights to see right on your door step including wonderful wild life. The Studio" is one of two cottages on the property. Great base for exploring the Hunter vineyards, attending concerts, bushwalking or just relaxing and watching cows wander past.
