A tiny isolated hut amidst Kauri and Rimu trees to escape the world, self check in. Outdoor Fire, long drop, outdoor hot shower/bath. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.

The Bush Bach | Titirangi

The Bush Bach is a peaceful bush retreat near Titirangi Village in Auckland’s Waitākere Ranges. Tucked away up a private drive, it offers a calm place to unwind while still being close to cafés, restaurants and the Titirangi art gallery. Guests often wake to birdsong from tūī and kererū, with the surrounding bush creating a relaxed retreat only a short drive from the city.
