The Shepherd's Hut is set on a working farm in the beautiful countryside of North Oxfordshire. It looks out over paddocks and woodland filled with wildlife. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Luxury Shepherd's Hut with stunning sunset views!

Welcome to Honeysuckle, our luxury shepherd's hut with stunning views across the fields in the Chilterns. In the evenings sit and watch the sun go down around your fire pit or stay cosy indoors with your log burner. We are a working farm and you may see the tractor trundle past feeding our herds of Texal sheep (Lambing right in front of you in March/April 2025!) and Limousin cows grazing in fields, or watch the many birds. You have your own secluded, fenced and private garden area with seating.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic Shepherds Hut with amazing views over the Surrounding Chiltern Hills, a firepit / bbq, and real log stove, while away a few hours with a visit to Daws Hill Vineyard in the village for a break away from it all! Then relax in front of a real fire on your return! All facilities inc showers are a short walk, and in individual rooms.(Vineyard subject to availability) (Please read on Re options and request these via messages if required)

The Shepherds Hut

The Shepherds Hut is snugly situated in the corner of the paddock. Twinned with our Pond House, the Shepherds Hut offers nature loving guests the perfect getaway for a relaxing mini break. The Shepherds Hut is my father’s second ‘glamping’ project. He carefully designed and built the Hut from scratch - it was a labour of love and a project which involved the whole family! Now finally completed - we invite guests to come and share the beautiful countryside from the cosy confines of the Hut.

Folly Farm Shepherd Hut - Self Catering

Our Luxury Shepherd Hut is based on an old fashioned hut, but has all modern day facilities to make your stay warm and cosy, at any time of the year. The Shepherd Hut includes a comfortable double bed, a dining area, a kitchen with hot and cold running water. It also has a cooker, hob and fridge freezer. There is a shower room with a sink and loo. The Shepherd Hut also has it's own garden with a table and chairs for outside dining and relaxing. A breakfast welcome pack will be provided.

Converted 1941 Howitzer Trailer found on a farm, lovingly converted to a home from home. Recently changed to run using Solar Energy. Contains King size bed, kitchen with convection microwave oven & grill, induction hob, fridge with freezer box, bathroom with full size shower, electric heating, TV & WIFI. Armchairs, folding table and chairs. Small patio area with barbeque and loungers, parking for one car. Rural location with views over open fields. Small village with shop and pub.

The Garden Retreat Shepherds Hut

Stay in the stunning walled garden of Chadwell Hill Farm. This beautiful wooden shepherds hut is a cosy, pretty space, surrounded by the beautiful Chilterns countryside. Outside you have full access to the whole garden, firepit/bbq and seating area. On our farm (and in the fields around you) we have horses, cows and an abundance of wildlife. Perfect if you are looking for a romantic retreat, a family getaway or a Ridgeway stopover or just want to stop and breathe. Dog friendly.

Our Beautiful Shepherds Hut named Bluebell is one of 4 cabins nestled in stunning woodlands, on a private estate just outside Henley-On-Thames. Come and relax, unwind and take time out of the hustle and bustle at Red Kite Retreats. Why not stay during the Autumn and Winter months? Cosy up in front of the log burners ( All accommodation comes with heating i.e. radiators or underfloor heating so you can be cosy all day and night)
