Relax with the whole family at our peaceful, rustic log cabin. No matter what season of the year it is, the cabin provides a welcoming, calm place to connect as family and enjoy nature. Highlights include kayaking and hiking in the warm months, and sledding or snowshoeing followed by a warm fire and hot cocoa in the winter. The cabin is a 5 minute walk along treed, scenic trails to Pine Lake, which features a semi-private sand beach, opportunities for watersports, and excellent fishing.

At Hillwinds House, it’s all about taking a moment to disconnect from your busy life and reconnect with nature. Build a fire, read a book, brew some coffee, sweat in the sauna, soak in the hot tub, prepare a nourishing meal, and watch the sun set over the valley in the west. We are excited to share our Alberta landscape with its beautiful sky, empty fields, and close up nature details. The 5 acre space is filled with wildflowers, look closely and take a moment to enjoy.

With 4 seasons of lakeside fun; you can enjoy boating, fishing, beach days, hunting (206), cozy holiday gatherings, ice fishing, skating, & sledding. We have plenty of space - extra tables for quilting, sewing retreats & book club getaways can be provided, let us know what your group needs!

You'll find a pizza hut and a bowling alley again within a minute walk off of 50th ave. Please note: During the summer months we accept 7 day reservations only with check in on Fridays only. The views of the calm lake in the morning are spectacular, and there are some fantastic restaurants and breweries in the neighbourhood.
