The Todaki Korean Traditional House is situated next to one of the finest high schools, Choongang high school, in central Seoul, which was the setting of a famous Korean drama, ‘Winter Sonata’. The Todaki House is also near Gyungbok Royal Palace, Changdeok Royal Palace, the Presidential Residence of Chung Wa Dae (Blue House), Samchungdong area and Insadong area where there are a lot of unique places in which you can experience Korean traditional culture. ○ Atmosphere The Todaki Korean Traditional Hanok House is newly decorated. We are proud of the tranquility and comfortable atmosphere of Todaki hanokstay. Family meetings, friend gatherings(parties), or collegue meetings are very much welcome at The Todaki. 서울의하루는 한옥을 만드는 호스트가 직접 지은 한옥을 호스팅하는 한옥전문 스테이입니다. 우연한 계기로 북촌에 한옥을 지어서 살아보니 남들에게 알려주고 싶은 장점이 많았습니다. 저처럼 평범한 사람들이 가진 한옥살이에 대한 막연한 꿈을 가까운 현실로 느끼길 바라는 마음으로 게스트들을 맞이하고자 합니다. 서울의하루 삼청동 집은 경복궁 청와대와 매우 가까운 서울의 중심부에 위치해있으며 15평의 아담한 크기입니다. 거실 하나 방 하나 아담한 주택으로 1-2인이 머무르기 적합합니다. 1936년에 지어진 집을 2019년에 제가 직접 고쳤습니다. 한국 전통 건축양식을 지킨 한옥이나 내부 공간은 입식생활이 가능하도록 현대적인 가구들을 배치하였습니다. 장기 투숙자를 위한 세탁기와 건조기 등 생활가전도 준비되어 있습니다. 여행자들에게 가장 중요한 것은 휴식이라 생각하고 침구류를 가장 신경쓰고 있습니다. 서울에 이런 곳도 있구나 나도 한옥 한번 살아볼까 하는 꿈을 이 곳에서 꾸길 바랍니다.

Stay origin

Origin is a traditional hanok house located on the stone wall of Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO cultural heritage. Located in the 2nd view of Bukchon, this hanok yard is filled with old trees from Changdeokgung Palace. It is located in a quiet place where you can hear the chirping of birds. There is no inconvenience at all to stay. Bukchon Hanok Village, Insa-dong, Ikseon-dong, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art are all within a 10-minute walk.
