Modern Beach Shack | Escape for Two W/ Pool

Located in a sleepy little beach town that time forgot. Where ancient palms shade your path and prehistoric creatures still roam the land. The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. A modern take on the classic Australian beach shack, the house is designed for the Queensland tropics. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.

Usnea, A Nature, Art and Accommodation Space

Usnea, our Nature, Art and Accommodation Space, is situated on the Evelyn Tablelands, Tropical North Qld. Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

Litoria Mission Beach 2 bedroom

Litoria is a pavilion home tucked against reserve, about 150m from the beach. You’ll love Litoria’s breezeway and living pod that opens to capture the sea breezes. With 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and a fully fenced yard, Litoria provides the perfect getaway for couples or small families (including the furry kind). Kids love the free splash pad, skate park and playground (5–10min walk away) and the free access to the aquatic centre. Ask us about our free pool passes!

Mena Creek Flower House, "The Birdsnest"

Set on 40 Private acres, "The Birdsnest" is our modern air-cond smaller cabin. It is open plan living/bedroom with q/size bed and sofa that converts to double bed for extra guests. Seperate bathroom and undercover large deck with stunning rural views. Private river safe swimming hole. Free wifi, flat screen TV. We do have 2 other cabins on the property to accommodate larger families or groups. 7mins from Paronella Park. Due to Covid 19 we are no longer providing breakfast.

Mission Beach Farmstay

Daily rate is for a couple using the king bedroom. If you want to use an extra bedroom, it is $30 per person per night. Book at the extra person rate. Modern cottage in traditional Queenslander style, just a few minutes drive to the beach, to cafes, restaurants and retail shops. Relax on our organic fruit farm with stunning views to world heritage rainforest. There are little touches to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Plenty of room for families.

Bingil Bay Getaway

Adjoined by rainforest, our place is handily positioned between beautiful Bingil Bay Beach (200m) and the wonderful Bingil Bay Café (200m). The accommodation is the bottom part of a large Queenslander house with access to the pool and extensive gardens. With its own access and carport you are completely self sufficient but we are available to lend you bicycles or point you to the walking tracks. Be active or do nothing, we are private but not remote.

Beachside Retro shack

This rare find is a fully self-contained beach shack with heaps of character on a large private block. Just a 100 meter stroll to beautiful South Mission Beach and close access to coastal walking tracks and rainforest trails. Our simple, comfy retro shack has everything you need for a chilled out beachside stay. You can even bring your boat, there's plenty of room for a boat trailer on our block and river and beach boat ramps close by.

The Winston

The Winston is a beautiful old church in the retro town of Innisfail which we have been renovating for about a year. It’s about a 15 minute walk into town. The area has many attractions close by Paronella Park, Etty Bay where you will see cassowaries walking along the beach, Babinda Boulders, Josephine falls, the Mamu canopy walk, white water rafting in Tully and Mission beach just to name a few
