1800s countryside cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set in the middle of the lush countryside this beautiful old cottage with it's 3 foot thick walls is privacy personified, a cat and pony being your closest neighbours. Yet only 15 minutes drive to the beautiful village of Adare and 35 minutes drive to Shannon International Airport. Curraghchase Forest Park is 3 minutes away by car and the cottage is 2 minutes away from the N69 which is part of the network of roads on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The River Cottage.

This cottage has a double bedroom with a super king bed, a single bedroom, a large double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and sitting room with TV, dining area and two sofa beds. It is surrounded by parkland on the banks of the Shannon River and stands next to St Patrick's, the former parish church. The cottage has central heating, a shower room, toilet, a TV and broadband. It also has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas cooker, coffee machine, kettles, a washing machine and a fridge freezer.

Bunratty village is situated between Ennis in Co. Clare and Limerick. Bunratty is most famous for its world renowned Bunratty Castle and folk Park which attracts many thousands of visitors each year. Bunratty is an ideal location for touring the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Aillwee Caves, King Johns castle, the Hunt Museum, Dolphin watching, to name but a few. Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
