The Carriage House and city of Morganton have power and are ready visitors. This guest house sits behind a historic home in downtown Morganton. The 1920s structure has restored original finishes : a claw foot tub, vintage bathroom sink, and farm house sink in the kitchen. Downstairs features original wood bead board ceilings. Upstairs the ceiling was removed to expose the roof and beams. Two fireplaces keep it cozy - you'll have a lovely place relax and listen to the rain on the metal roof.

We have a gravel, long, steep driveway (AWD\FWD ARE RECOMMENDED) & we’re tucked in down at the bottom of a 10 acre forest. No internet, wifi or tv service, but we guarantee you a better connection to nature! Unplug, disconnect and take in, savor the magick that is Tamarca Hollow!

The king bed and comfy futon allow for post-adventure relaxing, outdoor fire pit available or cool off in the river.

A cute, retro-style tiny house located close to town, yet still away from the sounds of civilization. There is a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave and a french press for coffee, but not a full kitchen. The neighborhood is very safe and clean, great for taking long walks through. There is a shared firepit area with the main house which includes hammocks so you can lay out and see the stars!
