We are located near Nelsonville's Historic Arts District, the Nelsonville Music Festival, Hocking College, Hocking Hills State Park, Athens & Ohio University, Lake Hope State Park, and Wayne National Forest. "Oink" is located on 50 acres of privately owned property and is sure to meet your vacation needs.

Welcome to the Butterfly Yurt! This beautiful yurt is nestled on 6 acres of land with your very own private hiking trails throughout the property. Located inside Wayne National Forest this property is perfect for nature lovers, a group of friends or a romantic getaway. Experience all that nature has to offer while waking up to the sound of birds chirping or soaking in the hot tub. This property provides a unique nature inspired getaway while offering all the modern conveniences.

Burr Oak Cabin

Burr Oak Cabin is nestled into the woods of Burr Oak State Park. Just a short walk or drive to Burr Oak Lake where you can enjoy fishing (license required), hiking, or boating. Hiking trails include various state park trails, the American Discovery Trail or the Buckeye Trail. Put in your own boat at the Dock 1 boat ramp (9.9 hp limit) or rent a kayak, canoe, fishing boat or pontoon boat. Rentals available April through October. We have wifi with a Roku smart Tv to stream.

Also near Tecumseh Trails Offroad and Baileys Trail System MTB. “NO GLITTER” AWD/ 4WD vehicles recommended. 21 year old minimum age limit. Our camper cabin is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors. Just a short walk from Burr Oak Lake dock 3 where you can hike, fish, kayak, launch your boat or simply enjoy the natural landscape. We are surrounded by 600+ acres of state land with several hiking trails and lots of designated hunting areas. Bring all your camping gear (minus the tent) and have the luxury of getting out of the weather in our heated/air-conditioned space with your own full bathroom!

Hocking Hills & Hunting Hideaway

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Come enjoy this cabin centrally located on 90 acres, sitting back on a beautiful stocked pond! Updated in 2021, this is a beautiful place to come and enjoy nature, with all the amenities. You can have breakfast on an upstairs balcony while watching ducks and wild game around the pond. The unique feeling of being tucked away in the hemlock trees just really sets the mood at this unique cabin.

Our cozy cabin sits amidst our beautiful gardens, is impeccably clean, ‘green,’ and full of charm — a perfect place for a peaceful country getaway. 5 miles to Athens 7 miles to Ohio University 6 miles to Bailey’s Trails (mountain biking) 2 miles to Strouds Run State Park (our land borders the park) Near numerous wineries, breweries, and distilleries. We offer paddle board rentals—Dow lake, is 5 minutes down the road.
