The cottage stands in the grounds of the country house and has a private courtyard with a hot tub. It benefits from beautiful views in a peaceful village location, ideally located for Malton, York and surrounding areas. Sleeping up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children, this cottage has everything you need for a memorable experience.To the side is Morgan Cottage that can sleep unto 6 adults.

Our country cottage has been completely renovated into a beautiful and stylish home. It is situated in an idyllic setting overlooking a stream in the North Yorkshire countryside, 4 miles from the small market town of Malton. This is an extremely peaceful place, entirely surrounded by fields. The cottage is semi-detached with a quiet neighbour. The cottage accommodates 4 adults, a child and a baby, in 3 upstairs bedrooms: 1 (king) double, 1 with two singles, 1 with smaller bed and travel cot.

Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and En-Suite shower room. The Bathroom offers complimentary Bramley products and cotton bathrobes. Both areas are underfloor heated. There is a private garden.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Beautiful village residence but only 4 miles from stunning historic York with easy public transport access. The Woodland Garden, has a fantastic selection of mature Rhododendrons and azaleas extends to 1.5 acres, a fire pit with seating for 8-10, Two Decked areas, woodland pathway to access Allerthorpe Common. York is 20 min by car. Country Houses , Sledmere, Castle Howard and Burton Agnes are all within a 30 minute drive. Family/ friends, Male or Female groups welcome. A max of 2 dogs which are chargable.

High Grange Lodge

Please also note that the property has slipper baths - there are no showers or shower heads (see pictures) Private area with seating and a hot tub. We are in the countryside but only 2 miles from local amenities. Pocklington is 2 miles, The beautiful city of York is 12 miles, the coast is only an hours drive.
