East Chop Cottage - walk to lighthouse & beach!

This quaint little cottage is located in the heart of East Chop, a neighborhood of Oak Bluffs. East Chop features the high, prominent bluffs that gave Oak Bluffs its name. A lighthouse, East Chop Light, stands at the north end of the chop on Telegraph Hill- only a five minute walk from the cottage. The cottage is a twelve minute walk to the harbor, and about a mile from the Oak Bluffs ferry! There is a public beach about 1/2 mile down the road. ***This space is not suitable for children

Many old maple and pine trees, hiking trails and breathtaking views will welcome you along the the drive here. If you'd like to book a healing retreat I offer Reiki sessions to guests. Short walk to the beach (1/4 mile), Fort Rodman and Fort Taber where there is a military museum and a walking/bike path. Flexible Check-in, so you can arrive when convenient for you (as early as 9AM). No Guests or parties.

Conveniently close to Amtrak, bus lines, and the airport, it’s an ideal spot for exploring New England or visiting area colleges.

Built in 1881, our home is walking distance to downtown Newport, the Cliff Walk, and First Beach. The third floor suite features two large bedrooms (both queen size), an expansive living area, a private full bath, and your own eat-in kitchen. We are licensed by the City of Newport as an approved Airbnb site. We typically require a minimum two night stay during the busy summer weekends.

This beautiful Vermont home sits on 25 acres with spectacular views. We moved this sugar house structure to this land and had an architect adapt it to its surroundings. It has three walls of windows that display the amazing views. The house is surrounded by Mount Anthony hiking trails and a gorgeous pond. The location is a 5 minute drive to town or a lovely 20 minute walk.
