This 536 s.f. house, believed to have once been a sleeping shanty for railroad crews switching shifts for the night. Fully renovated and updated in 2021 by a local artist, you will find custom metal art throughout, granite countertops and a very warm cabin feel featuring a kitchen and bathroom finished with locally sourced Missouri dark red cedar, 10 minutes from six flags, Purina farms 15 min from hidden valley and 45 min from downtown this place is in a great location and will not disappoint!

It is in St. Louis Hills neighborhood, a community with grocery and retail stores on the main drags – Chippewa and Hampton, with easy reach to city parks and the River Des Peres Greenway Trail. It is well-placed for all city visitors, here for excursions or family get-togethers, medical visits or business travelers, where visitors can rest and repose for another day of fun!

This lovely rural cottage is nestled back in the woods on its very own private acre of land. It offers guests a beautiful getaway experience while at the same time being just a 7 minute drive from downtown Eureka with its many delicious restaurants and adorable boutiques. Six Flags is a brief 10 minute drive, and Purina Farms is 15. We have ample parking for multiple vehicles and a completely fenced in yard great for 4 legged friends.

Unplug and enjoy a slower pace of life at this picturesque rock cottage. The 1920’s former hunting lodge was built from stone sourced from the property, and is as charming as ever. Enjoy an early morning stroll on one of the many hiking trails, or just relax on the porch while sipping coffee. There are many great hiking opportunities within a short drive, however, once you get settled in you may not find a reason to leave.
