The Ginocchio Meyer Home

Welcome! We want to share a bit of history with you! Enjoy a once in a lifetime experience staying at this unique & intricate beautiful 1890’s home. In the 1890’s Charles Ginocchio, owner of the Ginocchio Hotel and the Ginocchio home, had this home built by C. G. Lancaster for Emile Meyers, who operated a saloon in the hotel. Emile, an immigrant from Alsace-Lorraine continued to work at the hotel for many years. During the prohibition era, he converted the saloon into a soda fountain.

Located on the north side of the lake, the fishing side. This is not a good place to ski. The other side of the lake is for skiing/tubing

The lake house is located on the shores of Jackson Arm on Caddo Lake. The view from the back porch overlooks the lake. You are only five minutes from the closest boat launch and the area is very peaceful and private. Rates are based on a party of four. Additional guests will require an extra person fee.
