Beautiful, charming, quiet retreat

Beautiful garden walkway leads you to a newly renovated guest house, with spectacular views from all windows. Wood floors, travertine kitchen counters, full kitchen / frig. and viking stove. Bathroom with Italian glass tile bath/shower and antique vanity with carrera marble. All cotton linens with down pillows and duvet. Antiques through out, with a large walk in closet. The is a queen size Murphy bed in the living room, in addition to the queen size bed in the bedroom. We are located in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains, with magnificent hiking trails within walking distance. Some say that our little get away is located in the best kept secret in LA. It's private, quiet and tranquil yet only 15 minutes from Pacific Coast Hwy in Malibu and 10 minutes from the 101 freeway.

Monte Nido is nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains between Calabasas and Malibu, 5 minutes away from Pepperdine University in Malibu. You can walk to the Backbone trail head from our yard. The guest house has a private entrance, full kitchen, bath and french doors that open up to a private patio with a fountain. There is also a private deck for star gazing and afternoon naps. Perfect for hiking, biking, surfing, and relaxation. There are no streetlights or sidewalks. It is truly paradise.
