Rubha nan Gall Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage

A former Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage in a spectacular remote location on the Isle of Mull. Built by the Stevensons in 1857, Rubha nan Gall Keeper's Cottage has been completely renovated and now offers a comfortable home for up to 6 guests from which to enjoy the tranquil surroundings and abundant wildlife. Access is via a coastal footpath, a 25 min walk from Tobermory and there is NO vehicle access. The cottage is off-grid, but solar panels, a spring and WiFi mean you probably won’t notice.

Calgary Dovecote

Located a few minutes walk from the beautiful white sands of Calgary Bay, The Dovecote is romantic, quiet and cosy. Charmingly converted from an original Dovecote, this apartment retains many original features, including the original pigeon holes featured in the walls. The decked and terraced garden offers stunning countryside views and Calgary Art in Nature walk is nearby. 1 dog by prior arrangement allowed at £25 per week. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY STATED INCLUDES INFANTS AND CAN NOT BE EXCEEDED.

The Wing, Achnadrish House

The Wing of Achnadrish house, built in the 17th century as a shooting lodge, is attached to the Western side of the house, and although modernised, it retains a historical charm. The 3 upstairs bedrooms have a cottagey feel, whereas the downstairs is a little grander, with high ceilings and larger rooms, with a more country lodge feel to it and it now benefits from full central heating fuelled by our wood chip boiler, so you can be warm, and environmentally friendly! Dogs are welcome.

Port na Ba Beach Cottage

Shore front cottage, part of Aird Cottages, Port na Ba Beach. In exceptional, tranquil , remote location, 100m from stunning beach, NW Mull. Basic, old, fisherman's cottage has panoramic seaviews of Ardnamurchan, Skye, Rum, Eigg, Muck, Canna, Coll and Outer Isles. Otters, seals, sea eagles and dolphins can be seen from cottage! Friday to Friday week rentals during the season April until October, but please send a message to enquire re off season, when short breaks are available.

Charming East Cottage, Haunn, Isle of Mull

East Cottage at Haunn is one of three traditional 'blackhouses' in a remote location at Haunn, Treshnish Farm nr Calgary Beach, on the Isle of Mull. East Cottage has been eco-renovated to provide simple yet comfortable, stylish accommodation for 2. There is no Wifi in the cottage, but 4G signal outside and we have Wifi available for guests a mile away at Treshnish. There are lovely coastal and hill walks from here, without getting in the car. Amazing wildlife too!

Only a short stroll from the beach, it is a perfect base for a relaxed and comfortable stay on Eigg. Enjoy spectacular views and sunsets from couch or bed through the full height picture windows extending across the whole front of the house.

Stunning remote cottage by the sea and mull

Mill House Steading is a contemporary conversion of a historic barn into a 2 bedroom architect designed home. The balcony overlooks the burn with views across the Sound of Mull to Tobermory. See countryfile series17 episode 7 to see the beauty of the landscape around us. The bay is perfect for watersports. The renovation was completed in March 2020 and provides stunning accommodation.

Bearnus Bothy on Isle of Ulva

Bearnus Bothy has been lovingly renovated using our principle of ecological design to repair, repurpose and use what has been washed-up by the sea. It is one of the last old residences outside of the main dwellings around the Main House on Ulva. As such there are no neighbours until you reach the tiny community on Gometra - where we live - another three miles down the track.

Kittiwake Calgary, Off-grid Camping Hut

Kittiwake is the perfect off-grid camping hut to unwind from the world, nestled within the Calgary Art in Nature Sculpture Walk with stunning views of Calgary Bay. Whilst there is no electricity in the hut, it's the perfect location to switch off from technology and stoke up the fire; you'll be able to relax beneath the sounds of the trees, birds, and nature around you.

Cala Fearnadh Off-Grid cabin, Bunessan, Mull

Cala Fearnadh is a new, unique, off-grid cottage in a quiet village, with stunning sea views of Staffa and the Treshnish Isles, and beyond. There is nothing quite like it anywhere on the island! Electric power is 12 volt, generated by a combination of solar and wind energy. Water comes from the tranquil Loch Assapol, which supplies much of the area.
