The River House

Come escape the pressures of everyday life at this cozy relaxing cottage along the Susquehanna river. Windows galore which allow the beauty of the river to be enjoyed from the entire house. Open floor concept with two bedrooms on an upper landing, and a large bathroom. Exposed beams, hardwood floors, granite/butcher block countertops, walk-in shower, claw foot tub, I could keep going. Enjoy the wonderful wildlife which include bald eagles, osprey, beavers, ducks and many more. If you’re hungry, you can order delicious pizza from a real Sicilian in town or fine dine at the Accomac Inn which is just a 5 minute walk down river. Perfect road for a walk, run, or bike ride. This place is truly a relaxing home away from the everyday hustle. Please come enjoy. Close to major highways and sits between Lancaster and York (20 minute drives).

Now using UV technology to clean which uses extra time to sanitize and ventilate see new check in/out. Lovely cottage enjoy amazing sunsets from the back porch with first floor eat in kitchen- full refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee bar and grill. The living room features a comfy sofa and chair for reading with queen sofa bed and tv, 1st floor full bath walk in shower. 2nd floor has a lofted ceiling with a queen bed, vanity, tv, desk and chair. This quaint country cottage is nestled in the Redwoods on our Dillsburg property away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. Relaxing, quiet, not visible from the road but close to: ~ Round Top Mountain Resort ~Paulus Mt Airy Orchards ~Yellow Breeches Creek ~Messiah University. Enjoy the coziness of the BirdHouse. Our kitchen has the necessities to cook. We provide olive oil, spices, salt and pepper, farm fresh eggs, coffee filters, and trash bags. For the bathroom we provide starter shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, and of course the towels. Linens provided also. Enjoy the courtyard area with its gas fireplace and seating area.
