If you sit quietly on the screened porch at dusk, you’ll have a good chance of seeing the owl too! Lake access is within a 5 minute walk (you can also drive). This cabin is a great place to get away from it all and enjoy all that lake life has to offer. Fishing, boating, swimming, and more are at your doorstep.

This stunning property is perfect for a family vacation, a weekend getaway with friends, or a romantic retreat. With its prime location right on the water and its luxurious amenities, you won't find a better place to relax and unwind. The real star of the show is the outdoor spaces. From our amazing covered dock or cozy up by the custom built fireplace on the back deck.

Historic year-round cabin along lakeshore w/dock

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.

Cabin has a private bath and living area, and a beautiful view of Norris lake and mountains. Located on a 140 acre farm surrounded by an additional 260 acres of forest and over 10 miles of old logging trails. Norris Lake is a short hike to fish, boat, hike, bike, wild life, camp and picnics.
