The house was built by the Kelsey family in the 1930s after seeing the house featured in the 1933 Chicago World's Fair and has been completely renovated. Views of the lake from almost every room. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lakefront cottage! Our newly renovated home sleeps 12 and has an open floor plan, full kitchen, and big dining table. It offers central air/heat, 4 TVs, a DVD collection, games/toys, good wi-fi, and a nicely stocked coffee/tea bar. There’s a fishing deck and 8 kayaks. A sandy swimming area is down the road. There’s also a swing set and a fire pit for cookouts and s’mores. You may see frogs, turtles, geese, blue herons, eagles, and even deer!

The home is on Silver Lake, which is one of the premier lakes in the area. Only 15 miles from downtown Grand Rapids and 5 miles from quant and charming downtown Rockford. Updated in 2022. About 2000 sq. feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a 4-season porch. Large sandy beach with a paddle boat, 2 stand up paddle boards, 2 kayaks, and a nice 2021, 20-foot pontoon boat available for rent. The place is great for families, romantic getaways, or business travelers.
