Sunset Mountain Log Cabin Retreat - Upper Unit

Welcome to the Sunset Mountain Log Cabin Retreat! Our cabin is a beautiful, quiet getaway in the forested mountains just outside of Divide, CO. The cabin is decorated with rustic mountain cabin decor and has been completely updated and remodeled. Perfect for a couple's getaway. If you rent the upper unit we do not have anyone in the lower unit but the whole house is available for use with family or friends to share the entire cabin! Red Door Cabin

While staying at Red Door Cabins you will enjoy breathtaking views, amazing rock formations, beautiful pine and aspen trees, a firepit, silence and stars. Have fun finding pieces of petrified wood, geodes, wild berries, and mushrooms on the property and surrounding area. You will get visited by deer, squirrels, maybe a family of foxes and occasionally local black bear or two. So, don’t forget your camera! THERE ARE TWO CABINS ON THE PROPERTY SO YOU MAY HAVE NEIGHBORS DURING YOUR STAY .

You will likely see more deer, turkeys, and chipmunks than other humans, but if you’d like to venture out, the town of Florissant is just 23 minutes away!

Oct. is the time of year for the change of color) Full kitchen all you will need is your food. T.V with Hulu and Disney +.

There's even a local ski resort, Monarch Mountain, to check out on your winter visit! Or just come relax on the deck and enjoy the view.

Paul Bunyans mountain home in Canon City

Our mountain home is great for family gatherings, friends and children of all ages! This unique cabin was built by a local lumberjack and has a custom carving of Paul Bunyan in the living room. It is on the south end of town, about 5 min. from historic downtown. Rafting, hiking, zip lining, the Royal Gorge are all just minutes away from this comfortable stay.
