The Little Red School House Bed & Breakfast

Get back to nature and enjoy the peace and quiet of our country getaway in the historic "Little Red School House", just 30 minutes inland from Oamaru. Our B & B is located on our 940 hectare family farm which we run sheep and beef cattle on. The farm is situated over 400m above sea level so has panoramic country views. An early morning or evening walk is amazing for taking in the sunrise or sunset. We are happy to pick up people travelling on the Alps to Ocean Trial. Breakfast included.

Arthur's Pass Ecolodge - unique off grid living

Only 10mins south of Arthur's Pass Village, on SH73, the Ecolodge overlooks the expansive Waimakariri River and mountains of the National Park. Experience "off grid" living at its best on a small environmental footprint. To stay costs $175 per night for bed and homemade breakfast (for 2 people). You have the option to book up to 4 people in your group, as I have two Queen rooms available. I'm more than happy to share a 2-course meal + wine/beer for $35 pp and spend time sharing stories.

Just 20 minutes into central Christchurch. We provide a delicious home-made breakfast, and are on hand for local information.

Big Sky Apartment, Lake Tekapo: sunny and central

Big Sky Apartment is attached to our lovely lake-house in a great part of Tekapo. It is close to everything but quiet. There are stunning views of the mountains. We have Sky TV and free Wifi for your enjoyment. The apartment has its own separate entrance and a small outdoor patio including a table/chairs. Inside the apartment is a lounge-kitchenette, king bedroom and bathroom. It is doubled glazed, has heating/air conditioning and is equipped with everything travelers need.

Blackbird's Nest Farmstay

We live on a 5 acre lifestyle block three minutes drive from the main street of Fairlie. Our place is close to great views, walks, rivers, lakes and mountains, ski fields, café's and restaurants, shops and other amenities, and the world-famous Fairlie Bakehouse. You will love our place because of its character features, the peaceful setting, the friendly welcome, and the array of animals to interact with. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.

We live on the property but ensure complete privacy for guests, offering a quiet and comfortable stay.
