The Sea Cubby, Private Holiday Lodge, Portling.

The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Lodge has a large glass roofed deck. Well behaved dogs are considered, please ask first.

Cottage on the Scottish coast with stunning views

A detached cottage 50 metres from the shore of Luce Bay near Port William village. From the spacious conservatory, guests can relax, take in the stunning views towards the Isle of Man, look out for the family of otters who live by the sea, experience spectacular sunsets and star gaze. For the more adventurous there are lovely walks, cycling tracks, water sports, horse riding centres and top notch golf courses in the area. You’ll need a car to explore but there are local taxis for pub visits!

Charming Cottage on the beach

Kick back and relax in this calm, quaint, stylish space. Small and cosy, the cottage dates back to the 18th century and features lintels made from ships beams beached long ago. This seaside cottage has a "Loo with a view" over the Solway to Scotland! And if you like to sleep with a window open, you'll drift off to the sound of waves breaking on the shore. We're pet friendly too, as is the beach which is open to dogs all year and the Lakes are just a short drive away. Sea or fells? You choose!

Lovely holiday home with stunning sea views

Set on the harbour front with easy access to the beautiful Isle of Whithorn, the flat is a new conversion in a historic building. From its cosy window seats you can watch the boats bobbing in the harbour just outside, and sometimes see local seals as well! Our comfortable holiday home is reached via its own courtyard and stairs. There are superb views of the coastline from all rooms and free parking. The first floor flat is just a short stroll away from a fantastic traditional pub/restaurant.

Seascape is a spacious luxurious holiday home/self-catering accommodation situated on a small simplistic park where the sea front location is the main attraction. Watch the tide change to expose sandy beach & rocks where seals like to bask. Listen to the soothing sound of the waves lapping against the shoreline. Then enjoy breathtaking sunsets & starry skys. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.
