A self contained secluded luxury Shepherds Hut sleeps two near the Brecon Beacons national park with delightful valley views. Situated on a small working farm eight miles from Junction 49 at the western end of the M4. Enjoy the seclusion of the farm and walking opportunities in the area as well as the local attractions in East Carmarthenshire of castles, stately homes, gardens, local villages and towns. Further afield are the beaches and beauty spots of Swansea, the Gower and Pembrokeshire.

Cwt Y Cymoedd (Valley’s Hut)

Get cozy and settle into this rustic space. Based in South Wales next to the famous Waterfall Country, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and only a stone throw away from several beaches and other attractions. Cwt Y Cymoedd comfortably sleeps 2 with access to a private patio and a wood burner to keep the evening chills at bay. Inside the pod there is a free view TV, DVD player, and kettle (basic tea/coffee provided) with 2 x fold out tables to use for dining or playing games.

Shepherd's Rest

Shepherds Rest is a newly refurbished and charmingly decorated 2001 registered Iveco stock lorry. Originally used to transport sheep from farm to farm, before retiring from duties hence where the name Shepherds Rest has originated from. It has been given a new lease of life offering a slightly different glamping experience, creating a warm, cosy and inviting place to stay. Situated overlooking the Black Mountains at the Southern tip of the Brecon Beacons National park on a working hill farm.

Hickin’s Hut offers our guests a secluded and tranquil location, set within a 43 acre smallholding located only 3 miles from Cardigan. Sited within its own meadow, on the edge of a small wood adjacent to a lake where you will see much wildlife. The hut has a double bed and an en suite shower room/toilet with a power shower. It also enjoys glorious views of the surrounding Welsh countryside and Preseli Hills from the south facing decking with a private tub and firepit. Pets also welcome.

The Gambo

The Gambo is a traditional Shepherd's Hut with all the modern comforts you need for a relaxing break. It has a king-size bed, a fitted kitchen, full size fridge, wood-burning stove and bathroom. There is a 2-seater snuggler settee to relax and enjoy the spectacular view of the countryside and nearby coastline. Outside is a firepit, table, chairs and a Jacuzzi hot tub. Star gaze the unpolluted night sky. Relax and rejuvinate by booking a session in the sauna and cold splash pool!

A short stroll behind the barn takes you over a charming sleeper bridge and up a few steps, where your private hideaway awaits. Overlooking open fields where our horses graze, the hut is surrounded by nature and completely secluded—ideal for a quiet escape or romantic getaway. (Please note the walk is approximately 50meters and uphill.)
