Terra Firma - 1850s Fleurieu Cottage

Take a step back in time. Built in 1850, this cottage was once occupied by the very Caffreys after whom our street is named. The cottage is structurally identical to how those European settlers would have inhabited it. The thick walls are fantastic for keeping both the summer heat and winter cold out. Workers, holiday-makers, and day-trippers have come through this place, each having left their own little mark. And hopefully, the soul of this place will make a bit of an imprint on you too.

Located only one house back from The Esplanade, enjoy a relaxing beach getaway at The Salty Dog Beach House. The charming cottage nestled to the rear of the property sleeping 6. Complemented by a large fully fenced yard with established gardens, birdlife and carparking. There is plenty of outdoor space for kids and pets to play, while the three bedroom cottage is spacious and equipped to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday in this fantastic location.

The Gallery at Bella Cosa

On the edge of a forest The Gallery is simply stunning. Soak in the huge freestanding bath while watching your favourite TV show or movie. Relax by the log fire, enjoy a romantic dinner in the fully equipped kitchen or take a stroll through the forest sculpture trail. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. You may find you don't want to leave but if you do there are over 80 nearby cellar doors to visit, amazing restaurants to dine at and beaches and trails to explore.

Duckcottage: quaint stone cottage

Duckcottage is a five room stone settlers cottage built in 1853 on five acres of bushland at Second Valley. The property is now a refuge for wildlife so it is NOT suitable for dogs or cats. We call it 'duck' cottage because of the height of the doorways. It has been lovingly restored, and the habitat for birds and native animals has been established through revegetation. The property is secluded (there are no neighbours in sight) but it is a short drive to the beach.

Kangaroo Corner - cottage with reservoir views

Kangaroo Corner is a cosy 3 bedroom cottage with panoramic views of the beautiful Myponga Reservoir. This peaceful retreat is a nature lovers delight, surrounded by native grasses and bushland, with a thriving community of resident kangaroos who graze, play and snooze just 20-50m from the back fence. The cottage has 3 spacious bedrooms with beds for up to 8 people. The new kitchen is well equipped for cooking with gorgeous area for dining both inside and out.

Footsteps Cottage is located in the heart of Normanville. Walking distance to all facilities including pristine beaches. We are situated behind the Esplanade main home abutting the Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park.
