The Lodge at 5J Hunts

This is a brand new Hunting Lodge that was just finished in the fall of 2018. It has a beautiful setting with lots of cedar on the walls. The outside entrance has cedar logs to accent the front. It is surrounded with trees and a quiet space with a long row of Oak Trees down the lane that lead to the lodge. They look great year round. The concrete patio around the outside has a table and chairs to enjoy the outdoor experience. A cedar log fence adds to the atmosphere along with a fire pit.

Our beautiful light filled cabin with wood-burning fireplace is perched above our spring-fed 15 acre private lake next to the common outdoor lounge area and sand beach. We have 200 acres of gorgeous property with limestone boulders and hiking trails throughout. The lake is great for swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and offers excellent fishing. We are five minutes from downtown Excelsior Springs, Excelsior Springs golf course and 3EX municipal airport. Relax, rejuvenate and play.

This casual, cabin-like 2-bedroom basement unit has a private entry, off street parking, and many recreational options both inside and outside. Enjoy the large backyard for relaxing with a great view of the lake. Access to a fire pit, patio, picnic table, gas grill, and yard games. Sleeps 6 adults and houses a billiard table, TV, and a small kitchenette area equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, electric griddle & skillet, air fryer, dishes, serving ware and Keurig. Charming Log Home

Come enjoy our log home! This home was built as a model log home. It has its own charm and beauty and is a great place to unwind if you don’t mind some road noise. High speed internet is available-but no TV The property is convenient and easy to access,with a large parking area, although being next to I70 it is not quiet and secluded, expect road noise.( ear plugs and white noise machines are provided.) There is no Laundry-A local Laundromat is available.

Hunters heading to Grand Pass Conservation area have plenty of room to park the truck and boat. Saline County Fair Grounds are a 4 min. drive. MO Valley College Families are welcome, perfect place to stay during games.

Newly remodeled interior (we are still working on the outside!!) two blocks from Walmart and two blocks from Washington Street. Good parking on and off street. Wonderful open floor plan to host a family or just a comfortable place to stay. Artist's Cottage at The Dancing Bear Farm

Get away from it all with a stay in this cozy cottage out in the middle of serene farm land. Cuddle up by the fire with a good book. Take a walk down to the pond. Enjoy spectacular bird watching. An artists and photographers dream. Enjoy watching the animals in the morning & take in a gorgeous sunset in the evening. Rustic and homey. It's a real farm after all. Your boots will get muddy but the smiles will be sunny.

The Snugly Pug

The Snugly Pug is an entire apartment attached to my rural farmhouse. Located three miles southeast of Norborne, it's a peaceful and quiet place to relax and unwind. The two level loft apartment has its own entrance and a private deck surrounded by fields and countryside. A queen bed is located in the upstairs loft and a queen sofa bed is on the ground floor, a long with a kitchenette, bathroom and dining area.

Courthouse Lofts - front loft

Front loft has 1 bedroom, full kitchen, walk-in shower, walk-in closet, living room with full sized murphy bed, large dining table, breakfast bar and a magnificent view of the Marshall Courthouse. This 1882 building has seen a complete renovation. The loft is on the second floor and is only accessible by stairs. The lofts are above one of Marshall's oldest retail spaces that now houses Courthouse Salon.

160‑Acre Farmhouse Retreat – close to Marshall

The farm sits on 160 private acres, about eight miles from downtown Marshall. You’ll have the whole place to yourselves: fields and woods to wander, big skies, good sunsets, and very little light at night. The farmhouse is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been in our family for generations. It works well for family gatherings, weekends away, or just a few quiet days in the country.
