This beautiful rustic single storey traditional 18th century cottage, built from local pink sandstone, was bought by my father in 1986. I've been going there since I was 7 years old. It's in an isolated tranquil location with beautiful views of the Lowther Hills, and a ruined castle and loch a 10 minute walk away. A great area for walking, cycling, fishing, bird watching etc. It has a separate office with hill views, bike storage, open fire, and recently refurbished kitchen and bathroom.

Our Bothy is a beautifully restored one-bedroom cosy and welcoming retreat in a peaceful setting, surrounded by an acre of meadow and hills. Just over a mile from the ducal village of Thornhill’s shops, cafés and pubs. Full of original character, it is an immaculate, fully equipped and comfortable base for relaxing, walking and exploring scenic Dumfries and Galloway.

The Steading Cottage at Holmhill was once the stables and groom’s quarters to the elegant Georgian main house built by the Drumlanrig Castle Estate. It offers a cosy and beautifully appointed country retreat with breathtaking views over the beautiful Nith Valley and surrounding farmland, renown for its walks, wildlife and fishing. Prince’s Cottage is the old Shepard’s house and was originally made for the Prince Family. A 3 bedroom cottage that has been renovated and has the most amazing views. It is nestled just off the dead-end road that goes up the glen.
